Abstract

 CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is mechanism for companies action to integrate beetwen environment and social interactions in stakeholders interest. The presence of CSR community must be followed by same perception and participation to achieve the objectives of implementation program accordance as main problem. One of CSR programs from PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional Refinery Unit VII Kasim is mangroves planting in abrasion area of Kampung Klayas. The program that has been carried out in last few years has not yet obtained significant results in reduced coastal abrasion. The lack of information regarding perception and participation of Klayas village community, regarding the program's intentions and environmental conditions around their area establish the program not run optimally. This research was conducted to determine level of community perception and participation in implementation of CSR programs in Kampung Klayas. This research was conducted in January-March 2022 in Kampung Klayas, Seget, West Papua. This r method uses quantitative approach with descriptive design and correlation analysis in assessing level of public perception and participation. The results showed that the level of perception reached 100% about main program, but perception of urgency program had value (24.36%) with a meaning that the majority community did not know the interests and intentions (urgency) of programs. While the results of participation rate get results (<20%) which indicates that the majority of people do not take action directly in implementation. This influenced by several factors, including level of
education or understanding, as well as factor X regarding (Social Groups of Special Community)
